Indiana, Northwestern and Purdue Share Men’s Swimming & Diving Weekly Honors

Wildcats’ Seymour, Boilermakers’ Higbie and Hoosiers’ Manteufel collect weekly awards

Swimmer of the Week  
Stuart Seymour, Northwestern 
Sr. – Brookfield, Wis. 

  • Earned a pair of individual victories against Notre Dame, winning the 100 backstroke in 45.32 and the 100 butterfly in 45.70 
  • Helped 400-yard medley relay to first place finish (3:05.53) and 200 freestyle relay to a first place finish with a time of 1:17.97 
  • Last Northwestern Swimmer of the Week: Stuart Seymour (Feb. 4, 2026) 

Diver of the Week 
Holden Higbie, Purdue 
R-Jr. - Danville, Ind.  

  • Won on 3-meter and finished third on 1-meter in his season debut at the Dan Ross Indiana Intercollegiate 
  • Won on 3-meter with a NCAA Zone Qualifying score of 410.15 
  • Finished third as part of a Boilermaker 1-2-3-4 finish on 1-meter event with a Zone Qualifying score of 368.80 
  • Last Purdue Diver of the Week: Tyler Wills (Feb. 4, 2026) 

  
Freshman of the Week  
Gabriel Manteufel, Indiana 
Las Vegas, Nev. 

  • Led Indiana to wins over No. 20 Kentucky and No. 25 USC 
  • Swept distance free events, winning the 500 freestyle in 4:17.36 and the 1000 freestyle in 8:49.53. His 1000 freestyle time was good enough for fourth-best in program history  
  • Last Indiana Freshman of the Week: Noah Cakir (Jan. 28, 2026)
