How does the 2027 TIAA Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament work?
All 18 Big Ten teams will participate in a single-elimination tournament. Seeds 15-18 go head-to-head in the opening round on Tuesday. Seeds 9-14 receive a single bye and join the action on Wednesday, before the four teams who earned double byes, seeds five through eight, join the action on Thursday. The top four seeds start in the quarterfinals on Friday. The semifinals take place on Saturday before the championship game on Sunday.
