WHEN YOU DONATE, WE ALL WIN
WHEN YOU DONATE, WE ALL WIN
Abbott and the Big Ten Conference partnered to tackle the worst blood shortage in a generation during the 2024 fall football season.
Together, we helped to save as many as 60,000 lives during the first ever college conference-wide blood donation competition.
WE DON’T GIVE UP. WE GIVE BLOOD.
With the help of students, fans and alumni, the University of Nebraska won the competition and will receive $1 million to advance student and community health.
But the fight isn’t over yet! Don’t wait until next fall to donate blood. The need for blood is constant, and you can donate blood every 56 days to help address the current shortage. And we hope that next year we can save even more lives during the 2025 Big Ten and Abbott We Give Blood Drive, making a significant impact on the national blood shortage.
We’re already gearing up for next year’s Big Ten and Abbott We Give Blood Drive! Follow us for updates and join us in continuing to save lives.
