Big Ten Network Announces On-Air Basketball Talent For 2025-26 Season

NBA Champion Steve Smith and 2019 Naismith Coach of the Year Lisa Bluder return to BTN; 13-year NBA veteran Earl Watson joins as men’s basketball analyst

The Big Ten Network today announced its on-air talent and programming lineup ahead of the 2025-26 basketball season. BTN’s season-long plans include a roster of accomplished broadcasters and analysts along with new original programming and nearly 500 men’s and women’s games airing on BTN, B1G+ and the FOX Sports App.

On-Air Talent

During the 2025-26 season, Guy Haberman, Mike Hall, Jason Horowitz, A.J. Kanell, Jack Kizer, Kevin Kugler, Jeff Levering, J.B. Long, Cory Provus, Dave Revsine, Jason Ross Jr. and Chris Vosters will be among the play-by-play broadcasters for men’s basketball coverage on BTN.

They will be joined by an experienced lineup of analysts featuring Nick Bahe, Brian Butch, Rapheal Davis, Myles Dread, LaPhonso Ellis, Robbie Hummel, Austin Johnson, Joey Lane, Don MacLean, Shon Morris, Eldridge Recasner, Jess Settles, Nik Stauskas, Jordan Taylor and Bruce Weber, among others.

Returning to BTN as a men’s basketball analyst is Steve Smith, a four-year letterwinner at Michigan State, 14-year NBA veteran and 2003 NBA Champion with nearly two decades of broadcasting experience. New to the BTN analyst lineup is Earl Watson, a 13-year NBA veteran and four-year letterwinner at UCLA with over a decade of coaching experience across the NBA and NCAA.

Reporters Ashley Adamson and Andy Katz will provide updates from the sidelines throughout the men’s basketball season.

Throughout men’s basketball studio programming, hosts Hall, Revsine and Rick Pizzo will be joined by Rapheal Davis, Seth Davis, Mike DeCourcy, Katz, Smith and Weber.

Play-by-play broadcasters for women’s basketball will include Krista Blunk, Ed Cohen, Hall, Kizer, Sloane Martin, Kylen Mills, Ann Schatz, Vosters and Elise Woodward.

BTN’s lineup of analysts for women’s basketball features 2019 Naismith Coach of the Year Lisa Bluder, Tammy Blackburn, Autumn Johnson, Meghan McKeown, Shimmy Miller, Brenda VanLengen, Christy Winters Scott and Woodward.

Newcomers to BTN’s women’s basketball coverage include Genesis Bryant, a two-time Second Team All-Big Ten honoree at Illinois, and Sydney Parrish, a two-time All-Big Ten Honorable Mention selection at Indiana. Both Bryant and Parrish recently participated in the 2025 BTN Experience, a seminar hosted over the summer by BTN designed for former Big Ten student-athletes who are interested in pursuing sports media opportunities.

Women’s basketball studio programming will be hosted by Adamson, Hall and Mills alongside Johnson, Miller and Chloe Pavlech as analysts.

  • Women's Sports Report - A 30-minute studio show highlighting the results and storylines across the Big Ten landscape, including women's basketball.
  • The B1G Story - The story behind the 2017 Michigan men’s basketball team that went on to win the Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament in the aftermath of experiencing an airplane scare while the team was traveling to Washington D.C. for the tournament.
