Big Ten Network Presents 2026 Baseball and Softball Broadcast Schedules
Television coverage begins Sunday; more than 800 games airing across BTN platforms
The Big Ten Network's 2026 Big Ten baseball and softball television coverage begins this weekend, featuring more than 800 games across BTN and B1G+ throughout the season.
Coverage of Big Ten baseball on BTN opens with a matchup between Indiana and Oregon on Sunday, March 15 at 3:30 p.m. ET, and continues with a meeting featuring Penn State and Purdue from West Lafayette on Friday, March 20, at 4 p.m. ET. No.1-ranked UCLA is scheduled to appear on BTN three times this season, including a meeting with No. 25 USC from Jackie Robinson Stadium on Sunday, April 5. BTN will air a doubleheader on Saturday, May 9, featuring a meeting between Northwestern and Illinois at 6:30 p.m. ET, followed by No. 1 UCLA hosting Oregon at 9:30 p.m. ET. BTN will air five additional regular season games in May that will be selected at a later date.
Big Ten Network will also be home to the entire 2026 Big Ten Baseball Tournament Presented by IFS.ai from Omaha, Neb., beginning Tuesday, May 19 and concluding with the championship game Sunday, May 24.
Throughout baseball season, Connor Onion, Chris Vosters, Jack Kizer, J.B. Long and Chris Sylvester will be responsible for play-by-play duties, while Scott Pose, Danan Hughes, Jeff Leise and Wes Clements will serve as analysts.
Television coverage of Big Ten softball coverage begins Sunday, March 22, at noon ET, with a meeting between No. 23 Washington and Michigan, followed by a matchup between No. 7 UCLA and Rutgers at 5 p.m. ET. A tripleheader on Friday, April 10, highlights the network’s coverage of conference play, beginning with No. 21 Oregon at Maryland at 6 p.m. ET, followed by No. 7 Nebraska visiting Wisconsin at 8 p.m. ET, and concluding with No. 23 Washington hosting Minnesota at 10 p.m. ET. Eight additional regular season games on BTN will be selected at a later date.
BTN will have complete coverage from College Park, Md., of the 2026 Big Ten Softball Tournament presented by Allstate. The tournament begins with the first game on Wednesday, May 6, at 11 a.m. ET, and concludes with the championship game on Saturday, May 9, at 4 p.m. ET.
Lisa Byington, Sloane Martin and Kelsie Kasper will be the primary play-by-play broadcasters for softball coverage, with analysis provided by Jennie Ritter and Sydney Supple, among others.
The latest D1Baseball poll features No. 1-ranked UCLA and No. 25 USC, while the most recent poll from D1Softball has four Big Ten teams tanked in the top 25, including No. 7 Nebraska, No. 8 UCLA, No. 21 Oregon and No. 23 Washington.
More than 700 Big Ten baseball and softball games are scheduled to stream live on B1G+ during the 2026 season, including baseball games between No.1 UCLA and No. 25 USC and softball matchups between No. 7 Nebraska and No. 8 UCLA.
