Ohio State, USC and Washington Earn Weekly Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Awards
Buckeyes’ Lynn, Trojans’ White, and Huskies’ Moll win laurels
ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference has announced its Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week for the week of April 15-22, 2026.
Track Athlete of the Week
Madison Whyte, USC
Junior – Newport News, Va. – Major: Pharmacology and Drug Development
- Broke two USC program records and set top 10 times in NCAA history in the 4x100m relay and the 400m
- As the third leg, Whyte and USC tied the No. 3 time in NCAA history at 42.12
- Her 400m time of 46.94 broke the previous record of 49.99 set by Kendall Ellis in 2018
- Whyte’s second Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week award. Last: April 8, 2026
Field Athlete of the Week
Hana Moll, Washington
Junior – Pole Vault – Olympia, Wash. –Major: Business
- Broke her own NCAA outdoor pole vault record with a mark of 4.80m (15-9)
- Also broke the Mt. SAC Relays meet record by eight inches
- Leads the NCAA with the best mark in pole vault by eight inches
- Named Co-USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week on Monday
- Last Washington Field Athlete of the Week award: Amanda Moll (May 7, 2025)
Freshman of the Week
Tatum Lynn, Ohio State
Freshman – Sprints – Potomac, Md. – Major: Biology
- Won the women’s 400m hurdles at the Tom Jones Memorial with a time of 57.63
- Her time is best of any Big Ten freshman and any Buckeye this season
- Last Ohio State Freshman of the Week Award: Kiara Webb (March 25, 2026)
