Big Ten Announces Contract Extension For Commissioner Tony Petitti

Today, the Big Ten Conference Council of Presidents and Chancellors expressed its appreciation for Commissioner Petitti’s leadership and unanimously approved a five-year contract extension through June 2033.

“Tony has provided outstanding vision for the Conference through extremely turbulent times,” said COP/C Chair and President of Indiana University Pamela Whitten. “We’re thankful for his leadership and appreciate his spirit of innovation and collaboration as we continue to navigate the changing landscape of college sports.”
