ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference has announced its Three Stars of the Week for hockey games played Jan. 10-11.
First Star
Isaac Howard, Michigan State
Jr. – F – Hudson, Wis. — Minnesota Duluth (NCAA)
- Amassed five goals and six points to help No. 1/1 Michigan State earn four of six points at Penn State on Jan. 10-11
- Tied Big Ten single-game records with four goals and five points in MSU’s 6-4 win over Penn State on Friday at Pegula Ice Arena
- His five-point game was the most by a Spartan since the 2011-12 season
- The Tampa Bay Lighting draft pick earns his fourth weekly honor of the season and of his career (3-Firsts, 1-Third)

- Became first Irish player to record five points in a game since Bobby Nardella in 2018
- Scored an empty net goal with 0.1 seconds left to complete his hat trick on Saturday
- Finished with six points (three goals, three points) on the weekend, the fourth-highest point total nationally last week
- The Seattle Kraken draft choice collects his first Big Ten Star accolade

- Compiled a 0.78 goals-against average and .974 save percentage in four periods of action for No. 3/3 Minnesota
- Allowed one goal, with 2:15 left in the game, and stopped a season-high 32 shots in Minnesota’s 6-1 win over Ohio State Saturday at Value City Arena
- Leads the Big Ten in goals-against average (1.59) and save percentage (.938)
- The Big Ten Distinguished Scholar earns his first weekly award of the season and the third of his career
