Mike Ortiz Named Vice President, Replay at the Big Ten Conference

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference has named Mike Ortiz vice president, replay. A seasoned veteran of the industry, Ortiz will oversee the Big Ten’s replay operations for football and Olympic sports. Ortiz will report to senior vice president, sports administration Rebecca Pany and will be based at the Big Ten Conference headquarters in Rosemont, Illinois. 

Ortiz joins the Big Ten after 12 years at the Pac-12 Conference, most recently serving as vice president, video operations. Prior to the Pac-12, Ortiz was a video coordinator within several football programs, including at Oregon State University, the University of Washington, and the University of Colorado.

Ortiz is a graduate of the University of Colorado, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism.
