UCLA Captures Big Ten Baseball Championship Outright

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Top-ranked UCLA won the Big Ten Baseball Championship outright on Sunday with a 13-11 victory over Michigan State in East Lansing. The Bruins rallied from an eight-run deficit over the last three innings to remain undefeated in conference play at 24-0. The win, coupled with losses by Nebraska and Oregon, gave the Bruins a Big Ten regular season title for the second-straight season.
UCLA (43-4) claims the Big Ten Championship with two weeks left on the season. The Bruins have already set the Big Ten record for consecutive conference wins in a season (21) and own the second-longest streak all-time for conference wins (see list below):
