Baseball Tournament: Day 4 Update

OMAHA, Neb. – Three teams on Friday advanced to the semifinals as the Big Ten Baseball Tournament presented by IFS.ai rolled on at Charles Schwab Field Omaha.
Game 11: USC 7, Michigan State 0
USC (43-14) built a 4-0 lead after three innings and didn't look back in posting the third shutout of the tournament. Trojans Abbrie Covarrubias and Jack Basseer produced multi-RBI days while the Spartans (24-32) utilized seven pitchers in their final game of the season.
Game 12: UCLA 4, Purdue 3
Top-ranked UCLA (49-6) escaped an upset bid from Purdue on Mulivai Levu's walk-off sacrifice fly to right field in the bottom ninth which scored Jarrod Hocking. It was the Bruins' first lead of the night. Starter Thomas Howard surrendered just two hits over five innings for the Boilermakers (37-20).
Game 13: Nebraska 6, Michigan 4
Nebraska (42-14) broke a 4-4 tie with a pair of runs in the seventh to finish on the winning end of a game that ended just past two a.m. Case Sanderson went 3-for-4, finishing a home run shy of a cycle. Brayden Jefferis finished 2-for-3 at the plate for the Wolverines (34-24).
Saturday's action includes a quarterfinals match-up between No. 3 seed Oregon and No. 11 Washington followed by two semifinal games.
