Baseball Tournament: Day 5 Update

OMAHA, Neb. – No. 1 seed UCLA and No. 3 Oregon will meet in the championship game of the Big Ten Baseball Tournament presented by IFS.ai. Washington and USC were eliminated as quarterfinal and semifinal rounds were completed Saturday at Charles Schwab Field.

Game 14: Oregon 9, Washington 4
The tournament's last quarterfinal game produced an Oregon win with the Ducks connecting on a season-high five home runs. The Huskies (25-32) received a grand slam off the bat of Ty Cowan, who hit his first homer of the season.

Game 15: UCLA 7, USC 5
Mulivai Levu connected on a three-run, walk-off home run to lift the Bruins (50-6) to a championship appearance for the second-straight year. UCLA became the first team in the country to reach 50 wins. Augie Lopez went 2-for-3 with two RBI for the Trojans (43-15).

Game 16: Oregon 8, Nebraska 0
Oregon (40-15) won its second game of the day on the strength of three home runs, giving the Ducks eight for the day. Drew Sanford tossed six shutout innings, fanning nine and allowing two hits. The loss ended Nebraska's bid for a third-straight tournament title.

Sunday's championship will begin at 2 p.m. CT and be carried by the Big Ten Network.
