Indiana is the last Big Ten team standing in the NCAA Tournament after Maryland and Iowa suffered losses in elimination games on Sunday.

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Indiana sustained its first loss in NCAA Regional play with a 16-6 setback to Kentucky at Kentucky Proud Park. The Hoosiers (42-19) will meet Kentucky for the third time in as many days in Monday's regional final with a berth to Super Regionals on the line.

Leading the Indiana offense was DH Carter Mathison, who went 3-for-4 at the plate and slugged his 11th homer of the season.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Iowa started the day with a 6-5 win over North Carolina in 13 innings before its season came to end later in the evening with an 11-8 loss to host Indiana State.

Michael Seegers tripled home pinch runner Coy Sarsfield to give the Hawkeyes a dramatic win over the Tar Heels.

The nightcap against Indiana State saw five lead changes before the Sycamores went up for good with three runs in the seventh. Iowa concluded its campaign with a 43-14 record.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Atlantic 10 Champion George Manson produced a walk-off sacrifice fly in the bottom ninth to edge Maryland, 11-10, in a game that started 12 hours after Maryland concluded a game early Sunday morning.

The Terrapins, who won the Big Ten Championship and Big Ten Tournament, ended their season 21 games above .500 with a 42-21 mark.

Maryland led 8-3 before surrendering seven runs in the bottom fourth. The Terrapins scored twice in the sixth but saw their comeback attempt fall short.
