UCLA Downs Murray State, 6-4, at College World Series
Bruins make successful debut in first CWS appearance since 2013

OMAHA, Neb. – UCLA remained perfect in NCAA postseason play, defeating Murray State, 6-4, on the second day of the Men’s College World Series at Charles Schwab Field Omaha.
The seventh-ranked Bruins (48-16) will meet LSU on Monday at 7 p.m. ET.
LF Dean West and 2B Phoenix Call recorded multiple-hit games for UCLA while starter Michael Barnett allowed three hits, an earned run and struck out four batters over 4.2 innings. Five pitchers came out of the bullpen to nail down the win.
Today’s game marked a return to Charles Schwab Field Omaha for UCLA, which posted a 3-1 record during the Big Ten Tournament Presented by IFS.ai in late May.
