UCLA’s Season Ends with 7-3 Loss to Arkansas at Men’s College World Series

OMAHA, Neb. – The UCLA baseball season concluded Tuesday evening with a 7-3 loss to third-ranked Arkansas at the Men’s College World Series.
The seventh-ranked Bruins (48-18) scored all their runs in the ninth on an RBI from AJ Salgado, an Arkansas throwing error, and a wild pitch.
Coach John Savage’s squad finishes the season with 48 wins, tied for fourth-most in program history. The Bruins’ appearance in the MCWS was the third for the Big Ten since 1985, following Michigan’s runner-up effort in 2019 and Indiana’s berth in 2013.
Tonight’s action at Charles Schwab Field Omaha also closed athletic competition for the Big Ten Conference in 2024-25, a campaign that produced 10 national championships.
