Where are the Big Ten Basketball Tournaments?
The 2026 TIAA Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament will be held at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, located at 1901 W. Madison Street, Chicago, IL 60612. You can find more information about the United Center here .
The 2026 Allstate Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament took place at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. Next season, it will be at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
How does the Big Ten Basketball Tournament work?
The 2026 TIAA Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament will include all 18 teams and is single-elimination format. The lowest four seeds compete in two games on the first day. The next lowest four seeds play the winners of those two games and each other on the second day, and the same with the next four highest seeds on the third day. The top four seeds play in the quarterfinals on the fourth day against the winners, with the semifinals on the fifth day, and the champions crowned on the sixth day.

The 2026 Allstate Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament is single-elimination format and includes the conference’s top 15 (out of 18) regular-season finishers. The last six qualifiers compete in three games on the first day, with the next four highest seeds competing against the winners and each other on the second day. The top four seeds join to play the winners in the quarterfinals on the third day, followed by the semifinals on the fourth day, and the championship on the fifth day.
