MEDIA INFORMATION |
Media attending Big Ten Football Media Days may pick up credentials at the Jasmine Registration Desk South on the third floor of the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Credential distribution hours will be from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. PT on Tuesday, 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. PT on Wednesday and 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. PT on Thursday.
WIRELESS INTERNET
Free wireless internet will be available in the event space at Mandalay Bay. The network name is B1GMedia and the password is B1GFBMD25.
RADIO ROW
At school discretion, coaches and student-athletes can be made available for interviews with on-site radio shows at any time as long as interviews do not conflict with other required media sessions. All interviews must be coordinated with school communications staff representatives. Radio Row will open daily at 8 a.m. PT.
MEDIA RECEPTION
The Big Ten Conference Communications Staff will host a media reception on Wednesday, July 23, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. PT at Rhythm & Riffs Lounge on the Casino Floor of Mandalay Bay. Media are welcome to enjoy light bites and drinks. All guests must be 21 years of age with valid ID.
FILMING/PHOTO SHOOTS OUTSIDE OF EVENT SPACE
- All filming and photo requests must be reviewed and approved by MGM Resorts Public Relations prior to arriving at Mandalay Bay (or any MGM Resorts property).
- If a videographer or still photographer is interested in capturing content on property, please email Scott Ghertner (sghertner@mgmresorts.com) and Allyson Wadman (awadman@mgmresorts.com).
- If videography or still photography was not approved in advance, Mandalay Bay Security will tell the journalist to immediately halt all activity and refer them to Scott and/or Allyson to submit their request.
- A videographer and/or still photographer will (most often) require a MGM Resorts Public Relations representative to escort them around the property.
