Purdue and Minnesota Score Men’s Basketball Weekly Accolades
ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference has announced its Men’s Basketball Players of the Week presented by Air National Guard for the week of Jan. 29-Feb. 4, 2024.
Player of the Week
Zach Edey, Purdue
C – Sr. – 7-4 – Toronto, Canada – IMG Academy (Fla.) – Major: Organizational Leadership and Supervision
Averaged 24.0 points, 14.0 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, and 1.5 assists in leading Purdue with wins over Northwestern and No. 6 Wisconsin
Shot 11-14 from the floor and paired 30 points and 15 rebounds, while playing 41 minutes of a 105-96 overtime win over Northwestern
Tallied 18 points, 13 rebounds, and three blocked shots to lead the Boilermakers to a 75-69 win at Wisconsin in a battle for the top spot in the Big Ten standings
Garners his 10th career Player of the Week award and fifth of the season
