Michigan Claims Men’s Golfer of the Week Honor
ROSEMONT, Ill. –Michigan’s Dean Muratore has been named the Big Ten Golfer of the Week for tournaments from September 25-October 2.

· Became the second Michigan men's golfer to break the 200-stroke mark in a 54-hole event, capturing his first career medalist honor with a record 196 (-14, 66-64-66) at the inaugural Jim DeLapa Collegiate Invitational at Point O'Woods Country Club
· Led the Wolverines to their third consecutive sub-par 54-hole total (835, -5) and third straight top-five finish
· Capped his record-breaking performance with 34 pars, 17 birdies and just three bogeys
· He opened and closed with rounds of 66 (-4), surrounding a career-low 64 (-6) in the second round, a score that tied the second-lowest single round in program history
