Michigan State Claims Men’s Golfer of the Week Honor

ROSEMONT, Ill. –Michigan State’s Lorenzo Pinili has been named the Big Ten Golfer of the Week for tournaments from October 9-16.

Jr. – Rochester Hills, Mich. – Brother Rice

·       Tied for second place with a four-under par 136 (66-70) at the St Andrews Links Collegiate, played on the Jubilee Course in St Andrews, Scotland

·       Played 32-of-36 holes at or below par during stroke play, including eight birdies and an eagle

·       Fired a five-under par 67 and won his match, 4up, against Winston Margaritis of St Andrews

·       Last Michigan State Big Ten Men’s Golfer of the Week honoree: McCoy Biagioli (Sept. 4, 2025)
