Maryland Claims Men’s Golfer of the Week Honor
ROSEMONT, Ill. – Maryland’s Emil Riegger has been named the Big Ten Golfer of the Week for tournaments from February 19-26.

· Captured medalist honors at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate at the Classic Club in Palm Desert, Calif.
· Helped the Terps to a second-place team finish with a total of 842 (-22)
· Fired a three-round 206 (-10), with rounds of 70, 69 and 67, tying his collegiate career low
· Played 48 of 54 holes at or below par, highlighted by 16 birdies
· Last Maryland Big Ten Men’s Golfer of the Week honoree: Yang Kuang (April 10, 2026)
