Hawkeyes’ Shellberg claims honor after runner-up finish
ROSEMONT, Ill. – Iowa's Ryan Shellberg has been named the Big Ten Golfer of the Week for tournaments from April 2-9.

- Earned runner-up honors at the Calusa Cup, competing against No. 2 Virginia and No. 3 Florida
- Led Iowa with a three-under-par final round, shooting 17 of 19 holes at par or better
- Played 47 of 54 holes at par or better during the tournament
- His career-best total score of 208 marks the best 54-hole performance by a Hawkeye at the Calusa Cup and ranks tied for 28th all-time in program history
