• Opened with rounds of 67 (-5) and 68 (-4) on Friday's first day, Thomson finished the first 36 holes atop the leaderboard at 135 (-9)
• Recorded 48 of 54 holes at or below par, highlighted by 13 birdies and an eagle, to lead Michigan to a runner-up finish at the Buckeye Classic
