Wolverines’ Kim captures weekly accolade after recording a top-five finish at Laredo Country Club

Recorded three straight sub-par tallies for a career-low 207 (-9) 54-hole total and posted his second career top-five finish as he closed fourth to lead the Maize and Blue at the Border Olympics
Securing a starting spot during a pre-tournament qualifier, Kim opened with a clean-sheet first-round total of 68 (-4) after 14 pars and four birdies
Making his way to the second 18 of the day, he closed with a 70 (-2) to position himself tied for fourth after 36 holes
With a closing 69 (-3) in the final round, he maintained his top five spot to finish fourth with a career-low 207 (-9) total - topping his prior best by four shots (211, -3; 2022 Little Rock Invitational)
The two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree collects his first career Golfer of the Week honor
