• Claimed his first collegiate victory last week, winning the Southwestern Invitational following rounds of 69-67-65 (-12)

• His final round 65 (-6) was tied for the lowest round of his career

• Recorded birdies on six of his final eight holes to come back and win the tournament by one shot

• Shipley led the Buckeyes to the team’s first win of the season and the first since winning the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate last April

• Earns his first career Golfer of the Week honor
