ROSEMONT, Ill. -- The Big Ten Conference will send five players and a coach to the 2023 Arnold Palmer Cup, which runs June 8-10 at the Laurel Valley Golf Club in Ligonier, Penn.

The Arnold Palmer Cup is an international event similar to the Ryder, Presidents and Solheim cup competitions, matching collegiate golfers from the United States against their international counterparts. Teams consist of 12 women and 12 men and are based on nationality as opposed to the location of the players' colleges or universities.

Crystal Wang (Diamond Bar, Calif.) and Tommy Kuhl (Morton, Ill.) of Illinois and Ohio State's Maxwell Moldovan (Uniontown, Ohio) will play for Team USA while Ohio State's Caley McGinty (Bristol, England) and Purdue's Herman Sekne (Oslo, Norway) will represent the Internationals. Minnesota Women's Head Coach Rhyll Brinsmead (Torquay, Australia) will serve as an assistant coach for the International team.

The Palmer Cup is in its 27th year with its current format in place since 2018. The United States leads the Cup series, 13-12-1.
