Indiana Claims Men’s Golfer of the Week Honor
ROSEMONT, Ill. – Indiana University junior Clay Merchent has been named the Big Ten Golfer of the Week for tournaments from October 31-November 6.

- Tied for fourth overall at the Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational with a 54-hole score of 199 (-14; 67, 65, 67)
- Became the third player in Indiana men's golf history to shoot under 200, joining All-Americans Jeff Overton (three times) and Drew Salyers
- Recorded 48 of 54 holes at or below par, including a team-leading 18 birdies and an eagle
