Big Ten Announces 2025 Men's Golf Preseason Honorees

Seventeen preseason honorees were named Academic All-Big Ten last season

ROSEMONT, lll. – The Big Ten Conference announced Wednesday preseason honors for 54 student-athletes who were included on the Big Ten Men’s Golfers to Watch List.

 

The Watch List is headlined by 12 student-athletes who earned All-Big Ten distinction last year, including the 2025 Freshman of the Year Baylor Larrabee of UCLA. It also includes 11 golfers who finished inside the Top-15 at the 2025 Big Ten Men’s Golf Championships, led by Maryland’s Emil Riegger and Michigan State’s Lorenzo Pinili who tied for fifth place, and 17 who received Academic All-Big Ten honors last season.

 

This spring, the Big Ten Men’s Golf Championships (May 1-3) will unfold at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in North Plains, Ore., while the 2026 NCAA Golf Championships will be hosted for a third consecutive year at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California.
