Michigan Wins 2026 Big Ten Men's Gymnastics Title

Wolverines Claim 6th Consecutive Crown

LINCOLN, Neb. – The Michigan Wolverines claimed their sixth consecutive Big Ten Men’s Gymnastics championship on Friday inside Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Neb. Michigan scored 323.500 points to claim its 23rd title in program history.

Nebraska’s 320.700 points were good for second place, while Illinois finished third with 316.700 points. Ohio State placed fourth with 314.800 points, with Penn State placing fifth with 310.850 points.

Michigan’s Fred Richard claimed his fourth consecutive Big Ten all-round title with 81.300 points, becoming the Big Ten’s first four-time all-around champion since Minnesota’s John Roethlisberger won titles in 1990-93.

Nebraska’s Max Odden finished second with 78.000 points, while Penn State’s Kellen Ryan’s 76.700 points were good for third place. Ohio State’s David Ramirez (76.400), Illinois’ Garrett Schooley (76.250), and Penn State’s Landon Simpson (74.200) finished fourth, fifth, and sixth, respectively.

The final session of the 2026 Big Ten Men’s Gymnastics Championships will begin at 8 p.m. ET Saturday, and will include the individual event finals. Saturday’s competition will be broadcast live on Big Ten Network and is also available on the FOX Sports app.
