Michigan Captures 2025 Men's Gymnastics Championship

Wolverines raise 5th straight Big Ten title

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The University of Michigan won the 2025 Big Ten men’s gymnastics title tonight inside Crisler Arena in Ann Arbor, Mich. The Wolverines scored 330.750 points to claim their fifth consecutive Big Ten crown and 22nd in program history.

Penn State totaled 323.850 points to finish second, while Nebraska’s 322.850 points were good for third. Illinois closed the night in third place with 320.950 points, while Ohio State finished fifth with 315.950 points.

Michigan’s Fred Richard won his third consecutive Big Ten All-Around title, scoring 83.450 points, besting teammate Paul Juda, who finished with 81.750 points. Nebraska’s Taylor Christopulos tallied 79.800 points to finish third, while Illinois’ Ian Sandoval finished fourth with 78.800 points.   

The final session of the 2025 Big Ten Men’s Gymnastics Championships will begin at 7 p.m. ET Saturday, and will include the individual event finals. Saturday’s competition will be broadcast live on Big Ten Network and is also available on the FOX Sports app.
