Big Ten Network Announces 2025-26 Big Ten Men’s Ice Hockey Broadcast Schedule

31 games to air on BTN, FS1 and the FOX Sports App for second straight year

The Big Ten Network today announced the 2025-26 Big Ten men’s ice hockey broadcast schedule, with a record 31 games appearing on BTN, FS1 and the FOX Sports App. Television coverage includes an outdoor doubleheader from West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium, the Big Ten Tournament semifinals on March 14 and the championship game on March 21.

Coverage begins on BTN tonight with a doubleheader featuring No. 4-ranked Penn State hosting Clarkson at 6:30 p.m. ET as freshman Gavin McKenna is scheduled to make his home debut, followed by No. 12 Minnesota facing off with No. 11-ranked Boston College at 9 p.m. ET from Minneapolis. On Oct. 23, No. 9 Michigan plays hosts to defending National Champion No. 1 Western Michigan at 7 p.m. ET on BTN, and on Nov. 21, No. 4 Penn State travels to face No. 12 Minnesota at 8 p.m. ET on FS1.

BTN will broadcast an outdoor doubleheader from Beaver Stadium, as Penn State men’s and women’s hockey teams will play back-to-back Saturday, Jan. 31. Coverage will feature an AHA women’s hockey game between Penn State and Robert Morris and No. 4 Penn State taking on No. 2 Michigan State in a top five battle between two Big Ten contenders with game times to be announced at a later date.

As part of a doubleheader Saturday, Feb. 7, No. 2 Michigan State and No. 9 Michigan face off at 6:30 p.m. ET in the annual Duel in the D from Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, before No. 12 Minnesota hosts No. 16 Ohio State at 9 p.m. ET.

The latest USCHO poll includes six Big Ten teams ranked in the top 20, led by No. 2 Michigan State, and followed by No. 4 Penn State, No. 9 Michigan, No. 12 Minnesota, No. 16 Ohio State and No. 18 Wisconsin. 

All games that do not appear on BTN, with the exception of home games at Notre Dame, will be available on B1G+ , BTN's subscription service for 2,700 more events, archives of classic games and original content. Fans can subscribe to B1G+ with an annual pass for $89.99 per year or a monthly pass for $12.99 per month.
