ROSEMONT, lll. — No. 2 seed Michigan and No. 5 seed Ohio State won semifinal games on Saturday to advance to the Big Ten Hockey Tournament Championship Game, set for Saturday (March 21) in Ann Arbor, Mich. The 8 p.m. ET puck drop will be covered by the Big Ten Network.

Michigan (28-7-1) defeated No. 3 seed Penn State, 5-2, at Yost Ice Arena in Ann Arbor, Mich. The top-ranked Wolverines will appear in their sixth championship game with sights on a fourth conference tournament title.

Ohio State (14-20-2) downed No. 1 seed Michigan State, 3-2, in overtime at Munn Ice Arena in East Lansing, Mich. The victory avenged a double overtime loss to the Spartans on the same ice in last year’s championship game. The Buckeyes will make their fourth championship game appearance as they seek their first conference tournament title.
