Big Ten Conference Announces 2023-24 Hockey Television Schedule
ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference has released its television schedule for ice hockey as all seven schools will be featured on Big Ten Network. The first of 28 games on linear television commences Sunday (Oct. 8) with Michigan hosting Providence on BTN.
BTN will carry 27 contests, including the Big Ten opener between Ohio State and Michigan on October 20. In addition, Big Ten teams will make their television debuts on the following dates: Minnesota (Oct. 26), Wisconsin (Oct. 26), Notre Dame (Nov. 5), Penn State (Nov. 5) and Michigan State (Nov. 26).
The “Duel in the D” series moves to BTN with Michigan and Michigan State battling for the Iron D trophy Feb. 10 at Little Caesars Arena. It is the second game scheduled for television that day as one of six doubleheaders on BTN, which includes the Big Ten Tournament semifinals on March 16. The Big Ten Tournament Championship on March 23 will be featured on BTN as well.
FS1 will showcase Big Ten Hockey when Penn State travels to Minnesota on Feb. 9.
All games not televised by BTN will be carried on B1G+. B1G+ is BTN’s home for non-televised events and on-demand archives. Subscription options include a conference hockey pass, which delivers all men’s and women’s ice hockey on B1G+ for $59.99 per year.
