2023 NHL Draft Central
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Fifteen players with ties to the Big Ten Conference had their names called at the National Hockey League Draft, held June 28-29 at Bridgestone Arena.
This year’s list of draftees includes current Big Ten players and future commitments. Six Big Ten schools were represented in the selection process as the conference continues to develop NHL talent.
The Big Ten has now registered at least three first-round selections in four of the last five drafts and at least one top-five pick in four of the last five drafts with top-10 selections in six of the last seven drafts.
During the 2022-23 season, 57 NHL Draft picks played in the Big Ten.
