ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference released on Saturday the bracket for the 2024 Big Ten Hockey Tournament, a three-weekend event that will have all games taking place on the campus of the higher-seeded teams.

Michigan State (22-9-3) has earned the No. 1 seed and an opening round bye after capturing its first Big Ten regular season title last night. The 11th Big Ten Tournament begins March 8-10 with three best-of-three quarterfinal series. No. 2 seed Wisconsin (25-9-2) will host No. 7 seed Ohio State (12-19-4), No. 3 seed Minnesota (20-9-5) will entertain No. 6 seed Penn State (16-16-3) and No. 4 seed Michigan (18-13-3) will host No. 5 seed Notre Dame (15-17-2).

As the top-seeded team, Michigan State will have a bye to the single-elimination semifinals, which are scheduled for March 16-17. The highest-seeded team advancing from the quarterfinals will host the second-highest advancing team, while the lowest-seeded advancing team will play at Michigan State.

The highest-seeded team remaining after the semifinals will host the single-elimination championship game on Saturday, March 23.

The Penn State-Minnesota series will air on FS2 while the other quarterfinal series will be available on B1G+. The television schedule for the remainder of the tournament will be announced ahead of the semifinals.

The tournament champion will receive the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
