Indiana, Michigan and USC Share Men’s Swimming & Diving Weekly Honors

Swimmer of the Week  
Zalán Sárkány, Indiana 
Sr. – Budapest, Hungary 

• Swept distance freestyle events as Indiana won the Ohio State Invitational 
• Set NCAA leading times in 500 free (4:09.57) and 1,650 free (14:23.85) 
• Led 1-2 finish in 500 free with No. 2 performance in program history  
• Led 1-2-3 finish in 1,650 free, winning by 13.62 seconds 
• Set program record in 400 IM (3:39.73) to finish third and beating 11-year-old standard after tying it a season ago 
• Split 1:33.87 in second place finish in the 800-freestyle relay  
• Last Indiana Swimmer of the Week: Raekwon Noel (Oct. 29, 2025)  

Diver of the Week 
Moritz Wesemann, USC 
Gr. - Aachen, Germany 

• Won two events and finished fifth on platform at the Trojan Diving Invitational, helping USC sweep eight events over the weekend 
• Led a 1-2 USC finish on 3-meter, claiming the event with a final score of 885.90 
• Won the 1-meter with 822.60 points, outscoring the second-place finisher by 200.65 points 
• Finished fifth on platform with 637.15 
• Last USC Diver of the Week: Mortiz Wesemann (Oct. 15, 2025) 

Freshman of the Week  
Luka Mladenovic, Michigan  
Salzburg, Austria   

• Set a new school record in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 50.92, the fastest time in the Big Ten and fifth-fastest in the nation  
• Gathered multiple wins in the 200-yard breaststroke as part of the CSCAA Dual Meet Challenge 
• Earns third Freshman of the Week honor of the season  
• Last Michigan Freshman of the Week: Luka Mladenovic (Nov. 12, 2025)
