Big Ten Reveals 2024-25 Men’s Swimmers and Divers to Watch

ROSEMONT, Ill. - The Big Ten announced the 2024-25 Men’s Swimmers and Divers to Watch on Wednesday, featuring one swimmer and one diver from each of the nine men’s swim and dive programs. The watch list was determined by the conference’s head coaches. 

The list features five First Team All-Big Ten selections and three Second Team honorees from last season.  

Featured on the list is Indiana’s Carson Tyler returns for the Hoosiers as the reigning National Champion on both the 3-meter and platform. Tyler was named the Big Ten Diver of the Year and Diver of the Championships, helping Indiana to its third consecutive Big Ten Championship and a fourth overall finish at the 2024 NCAA Championships. 

Also on the preseason list is Michigan’s Gal Groumi who was named the Swimmer of the Championships.

The season is set to unofficially begin this weekend with intersquad meets prior to the official start of the 2024-25 campaign on Friday, Oct. 4.
