Ohio State Sweeps Weekly Men’s Swimming & Diving Awards

Swimmer of the Week 

Tomas Navikonis, Ohio State

So. – Lithuania – Major: Computer & Information Science 

•    Posted a victorious time of 20.92 in the 50 Free

•    Recorded the meet’s fastest time in the 500 Free (4:29.08)

•    Garners first third Swimmer of the Week honor

•    Last Ohio State Swimmer of the Week: Alex Quach (Jan. 18, 2023) 

Diver of the Week 

Clayton Chaplin, Ohio State

Jr. – Highlands Ranch, Colo. – Mountain Vista – Major: Psychology

•    Won the 1-meter diving event with an NCAA Zone qualifying score of 377.85

•    Placed fourth in the 3-meter even with a score of 377.62, achieving an NCAA Zone qualifying score

•    Earns second Diver of the Week award 

•    Last Ohio State Diver of the Week: Lyle Yost (Nov. 1, 2023)  

Freshman of the Week 

Eli Stoll

Fr. – Plain City, Ohio – Jonathan Alder – Major: Exploration Program

•    Earned his first collegiate win with a time of 50.13 in the 100 Back

•    Contributed to a victory in the 200 Medley Relay, posting a 23.5 in the first leg 

•    Earns his first Freshman of the Year honor

•    Last Ohio State Freshman of the Week: Sam Campbell (Jan. 18, 2023)
