Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio State Net Weekly Men’s Soccer Honors

Hoosiers’ Ault and Maher join Wolverines’ Goldson and Buckeyes’ Hurge with weekly accolades

Offensive Player of the Week 
Palmer Ault, Indiana
Sr. – F – Noblesville, Ind. – Noblesville

  • Totaled seven points in Indiana’s 4-1 win at Penn State
  • Notched his first career hat trick, with all three goals coming in the second half
  • Collects his second Offensive Player of the Week award of the season
  • Last Indiana Offensive Player of the Week: Collins Oduro (Sept. 9, 2025)

Defensive Player of the Week  
Josh Maher, Indiana
So. – D – Caseyville, Ill. – Althoff Catholic

  • Recorded his first career goal in the Hoosiers’ road win
  • Earns his first Defensive Player of the Week award
  • Last Indiana Defensive Player of the Week: Breckin Minzey (Sept. 9, 2025)

Goalkeeper of the Week  
Isaiah Goldson, Michigan
Jr. – Oakville, Ontario, Canada – Garth Webb

  • Tallied a season-high four saves in Michigan’s 1-0 win at Washington
  • Notched his third clean sheet of the season
  • Garners his first Goalkeeper of the Week award

 Freshman of the Week  
Aaron Hurge, Ohio State
M – Bethesda, Md. – Dublin Jerome

  • Paired a goal and an assist in the Buckeyes’ 3-2 win at Michigan State
  • Scored the game-tying goal in the 66th minute, before assisting on the game-winner two minutes later
  • Earns his first Freshman of the Week award
  • Last Ohio State Freshman of the Week: Nick Skubis (Sept. 17, 2024)
