Washington, Wisconsin, and Penn State Collect Weekly Men’s Soccer Honors

Huskies’ Hall and Hestad join Badgers Hebert and Nittany Lions Evans with weekly accolades

Offensive Player of the Week 
Alex Hall Washington
So. – M – Newcastle, Wash. – Liberty

  • Paired a goal and an assist as Washington scored a 3-0 win over then No. 12 Indiana
  • Recorded second game of the season with a goal and an assist
  • Collects his first Offensive Player of the Week award
  • Last Washington Offensive Player of the Week: Richie Aman (Sept. 30, 2025)


Defensive Player of the Week  
Asher Hestad, Washington
So. – D – Seattle, Wash. – Lincoln

  • Helped the Huskies’ defense earn a 3-0 win over then No. 12 Indiana
  • Scored his first career goal, as Washington claimed its first ranked win of the season
  • Earns his first Defensive Player of the Week award
  • Last Washington Defensive Player of the Week: Harrison Bertos (Sept. 30, 2025)


Goalkeeper of the Week  
Matisse Hebert, Wisconsin
So. – Montreal, Quebec. – FC Montreal

  • Recoded a season-high eight saves in a 1-0 win at Ohio State
  • Notched second-most saves of his career in earning his second clean sheet of the season
  • Garners third second career Goalkeeper of the Week award
  • Last Wisconsin Goalkeeper of the Week: Matisse Hebert (Sept. 10, 2024)

 

Freshman of the Week  
Jonathan Evans, Penn State
GK – Collegeville, Pa. – YSC Academy

  • Totaled eight saves, as the Nittany Lions claimed a pair of wins last week
  • Notched six saves in a 2-1 in at Michigan State
  • Earns his first Freshman of the Week award
