14 Big Ten Players Selected in MLS SuperDraft 2026
ROSEMONT, Ill. – Fourteen Big Ten student-athletes from five nine schools were selected in the MLS SuperDraft 2026 on Thursday afternoon.
Fresh off its first national championship, Washington led the Big Ten with five selections, the most of any program in the draft and the most draft picks Washington has had selected since 2022 when five Huskies were also picked.
Three players, including a pair from the Washington, were selected in the first round. Big Ten Midfielder of the Year Richie Aman led way as the No. 8 selection by D.C. United, followed by Michigan defender at No. 9 by Orlando City. Washington midfielder Zach Ramsey was selected by Vancouver Whitecaps FC at No. 17.
This marks the fifth consecutive year the Big Ten has had at least 13 MLS draft picks.
