Big Ten Announces Hosts For 2026-27 Olympic Sports Tournaments And Championships

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference on Thursday announced the dates and host sites for 2026-27 Olympic sports championships and tournaments. For the second consecutive year, all Big Ten Women’s Olympic Sports Championships & Tournaments will be presented by Allstate, the title sponsor of the Allstate Big Ten Women’s Championship Series. A complete schedule is below.

The first postseason hardware of the fall will be handed out on October 30 in Madison, Wisconsin, at the 2026 Big Ten Men’s & Women’s Cross Country Championships on the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course, which hosted the 2024 NCAA Championships and numerous NCAA Regionals. The following weekend, the Big Ten Field Hockey Tournament will take place at Ohio State’s Buckeye Varsity Field from Nov. 4-8, and the quarter- and semifinals of the Big Ten Women’s Soccer Tournament unfold at Energizer Park, home of Major League Soccer’s St. Louis CITY SC. The women’s tournament champion will be determined on Nov. 13 on the home field of the highest remaining seed, and the men’s soccer tournament title also will be handed out on Nov. 15 on the highest remaining seed’s campus.

The winter championships begin in the pool with the Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships taking place Feb. 17-20 in Iowa City, and the Men’s Championships from Feb. 24-27 at Purdue’s Morgan J. Burke Aquatics Center. The 2027 Men’s & Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championships return to the Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion Feb. 25-27.

For the first time, the Big Ten Wrestling Championships will be hosted at a neutral site, Columbus’ Nationwide Arena, home of the NHL’s Blue Jackets. The conference that has produced 19 consecutive NCAA team champions will gather in Ohio’s capital city March 6-7.

The Big Ten Ice Hockey tournament title will be determined on March 19 at the home of the highest remaining seed in the tournament, and the winter season will conclude with Women’s Gymnastics March 19-20 at Ohio State, and Men’s Gymnastics April 2-3 at Penn State.

Spring action gets underway April 22-25 with the Big Ten Women’s Tennis Tournament at Illinois’ Atkins Tennis Center. The Big Ten Women’s Golf Championships will be contested April 23-25 at Nemacolin Resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania. From April 28-May 2, the Women’s Lacrosse Tournament heads west for the first time at USC’s Rawlinson Stadium. That same weekend Men’s Tennis will determine a tournament champion at Michigan’s Varsity Tennis Center in Ann Arbor, and the Men’s Golf Championships will take place at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, New Jersey.

The Big Ten Men’s Lacrosse Tournament will be held May 6-8 at Penn State’s Panzer Stadium. Big Ten Softball will determine its tournament champion May 12-15 at Bowlin Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships head to TrackTown USA, Eugene, Oregon, at historic Hayward Field, while the Big Ten Rowing Championships return to the Indianapolis Rowing Center May 15-16.

For the eighth consecutive year, the final Big Ten tournament title of the season will be handed out in Omaha, Nebraska, where the Big Ten Baseball Tournament will be played at Charles Schwab Field Omaha from May 25-30.
