Four from Big Ten Tabbed as Men’s Soccer All-Americans
ROSEMONT, Ill. – Four Big Ten Men’s soccer standouts from two conference schools were named to the 2024 United Soccer Coaches All-America Teams, the coaching organization recently announced.
Big Ten tournament champion Ohio State nabbed a pair of honors, as midfielder Michael Adedokun and defender Siggi Magnusson claimed First Team honors, while Indiana defender Quinton Elliot and forward Samuel Sarver were named to the second and third teams, respectively.
Adedokun was unanimously voted as 2024 Big Ten Midfielder of the Year and led the league with 33 points, 11 goals, and 11 assists.
Magnusson anchored a Buckeyes’ defensive unit that allowed just 19 goals on the year while helping to record 10 shutouts, including three in the postseason.
Elliot record three goals and three assists for the Hoosiers, while Sarver earned his second consecutive All-American honor after posting 18 points on five goals and eight assists.
