Wisconsin, Rutgers Claim Weekly Men’s Soccer Awards
ROSEMONT, Ill. (Aug. 27, 2024) – The Big Ten Conference has announced the first Big Ten Men’s Soccer awards for the 2024 season.
Offensive Player & Freshman of the Week
Dean Boltz, Wisconsin
Fr. – F – Palantine, Ill. – William Fremd – Major: Undeclared
- Totaled four goals and an assist in leading the Badgers to a pair of wins to open the season
- Recorded seven points, including a hat trick, as Wisconsin topped Marist 4-0 to open the campaign
- Marked the program’s first hat trick since 2013 and second ever by a freshman
- Garners his first Offensive Player of the Week award and first Freshman of the Week honor

- Earns his first Defensive Player of the Week award
