STILLWATER, Okla. — Ohio State fifth-year Robert Cash and senior JJ Tracy won the NCAA Division I Doubles Championship Saturday with a 5-7, 6-0, 1-0 (10-6) victory over Florida State's Antoine Cornut-Chauvinc and Joshua Dous Karpenschif at the Greenwood Tennis Center.
It marked the Buckeyes' second-straight doubles crown as Andrew Lutschaunig and James Trotter took home the title last year. OSU doubles teams have also advanced to three straight NCAA Finals.
Cash/Tracy (20-3) become the sixth Big Ten doubles team to win a national championship. Ranked third in the ITA rankings, Cash/Tracy hope to receive a wild card entry into the US Open.
Today’s action closed the 2023-24 collegiate tennis season which began for Big Ten teams on Sept. 15.
