ROSEMONT, Ill. — Five Big Ten schools took part in the ITA Kickoff Weekend regionals (Jan. 26-28) with two host schools advancing to the ITA National Indoor Team Championship, to be held Feb. 16-19 in New York, N.Y.

Ohio State (6-0), which took over the top spot in the ITA Rankings last week, recorded wins over Vanderbilt and Boise State to advance to its 15th ITA Indoors. The Buckeyes will look to add to their titles won in 2014 and 2019.

Michigan (3-1), ranked 14th, defeated Nevada and ninth-ranked Stanford to advance to the finals site for the second-straight year and the fourth time overall.

Other highlights from the weekend regionals included Illinois (2-2) upsetting No. 16 North Carolina and Nebraska (5-1) downing Notre Dame. Northwestern (0-5) also competed in regional action.
