ROSEMONT, Ill. – Ohio State senior JJ Tracy has been named the Big Ten Conference Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for matches played April 10-14.

Amassed a combined 4-0 record (2-0 singles, 2-0 doubles) as top-ranked Ohio State moved into sole possession of first place in the Big Ten standings
Defeated 43rd-ranked Ronald Hohmann, 6-3, 7-5, at No. 3 singles and clinched the doubles point as well in Ohio State’s 6-1 win over No. 18 Michigan State
Teamed with Robert Cash to post a 7-6 win at No. 1 doubles versus Michigan’s 24th-ranked duo of Gavin Young and Jacob Bickersteth
Won in straight sets at No. 4 singles to help Ohio State to a 4-0 decision over No. 35 Michigan, completing a weekend sweep of Big Ten opponents for OSU in Columbus
Leads the Buckeyes with a combined 57 wins on the season
Ranked 16th in singles and third in doubles (with Cash) by the ITA
The 2023 All-Big Ten First Team selection earns his second Big Ten Player Award of the season and the fifth of his career
