NEW YORK, N.Y. — In a thrilling match between the nation's top two teams, top-ranked Ohio State prevailed over No. 2 ranked TCU, 4-3, in the championship match of the ITA Division I Men's Team Indoor Championship Monday afternoon.

For the third time in the tournament, Ohio State (13-0) won despite dropping the doubles point. The deciding match came down to No. 5 singles, where Ohio State's Robert Cash clinched match point with a forehand winner after rallying from a set down.

The Buckeyes' impressive run at the ITAs included four wins against ranked opponents — No. 21 Alabama, No. 8 Harvard, No. 6 Virginia and No. 2 TCU — in a span of four days. Ohio State claimed its third ITA Indoor crown, adding to titles won in 2014 and 2019, all coming under Head Coach Ty Tucker.

Ohio State's journey to the championship began at ITA Kickoff Weekend (Jan. 27-28), where the Buckeyes won their home regional as the field was narrowed from 60 teams to 15 plus Columbia, which hosted the finals site at the Milstein Family Tennis Center and the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
