SiriusXM Radio To Replay 2022-23 Big Ten Women’s Basketball Games

ROSEMONT, Ill. (May 19, 2023) – On the heels of the one of the most successful women’s basketball seasons in Big Ten Conference history, SiriusXM Radio will offer fans the chance to relive some of the greatest moments from the 2022-23 Big Ten season with replay broadcasts of six landmark conference games, as well as an encore presentation of the 2022 Big Ten Tournament championship game.
 
These seven games will include six different Big Ten schools, with four games spotlighting 2023 NCAA national finalist Iowa and three others that will feature 2023 Big Ten champion Indiana. These games will be broadcast on SiriusXM Big Ten Radio Channel 372 no less than 16 times during the week of May 22-28 and will include:
 
  • A pair of contests between Iowa and Indiana, first in the 2022 Big Ten Tournament final (won by Iowa, 74-67 in Indianapolis), and then a top-10 showdown in the 2023 regular-season finale on Feb. 26 in Iowa City (with No. 6 Iowa defeating No. 2 Indiana, 86-85 on Caitlin Clark’s buzzer-beating three-pointer before a sellout crowd at Carver-Hawkeye Arena).
  • Iowa’s subsequent top-10 matchup with Maryland in the 2023 Big Ten Tournament semifinals at the Target Center in Minneapolis, with the No. 7 Hawkeyes edging the No. 5 Terrapins, 89-84.
  • A top-10 battle in Columbus on Jan. 23, as 10th-ranked Iowa ended No. 2 Ohio State’s season-opening 19-game winning streak, pulling away late in the fourth quarter for an 83-72 win.
  • Another top-10 conference clash, as No. 6 Indiana defeated No. 9 Maryland, 68-61, on Jan. 12 in Bloomington.
  • No. 19 Michigan’s 76-68 win over then-No. 6 North Carolina on Dec. 20, at the inaugural Jumpman Invitational in Charlotte.
  • Minnesota edging Penn State, 98-96 in a double-overtime thriller in the first Big Ten game of the 2022-23 season on Dec. 3 at Williams Arena in Minneapolis.
