2023-24 Big Ten Women's Basketball Television Schedule

ROSEMONT, Ill.  — The Big Ten Conference released the start times and television assignments for its 2023-24 women’s basketball schedule on Tuesday, with all 126 conference games to be nationally produced and distributed for the 10th consecutive season. The conference also unveiled times and network designations for selected non-conference games hosted by Big Ten schools as part of Tuesday’s announcement.

This schedule marks the most coverage on nationally distributed platforms in Big Ten women’s basketball history. Six Big Ten regular-season games will also be televised on a broadcast platform the most in conference history.

For the first time ever, the Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament championship will be televised on a broadcast platform, with CBS airing the game on March 10, with the game also streaming live on Paramount+.

The Big Ten, which sent a record-tying seven teams to the NCAA Tournament last year including a three to the NCAA Elite Eight, features an 18-game women’s basketball conference schedule, with each school facing five opponents twice in a home-and-away series, while playing the other eight schools once (four at home, four on the road).

Conference play begins Dec. 9 and picks up in earnest on Dec. 30, culminating with the 31st Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament which takes place March 6-10, 2024, in Minneapolis at the Target Center, home of the WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx and NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Big Ten Network’s coverage tips off on Sunday, Oct. 15, when reigning Big Ten Tournament champion Iowa hosts DePaul in an exhibition game dubbed The Crossover at Kinnick. Start time is slated for 3:00 p.m. ET inside Kinnick Stadium, home of the Hawkeye football team. The network’s first regular season contest will take place on Sunday, Nov. 12, when Rutgers plays host to Auburn at 5 p.m. ET.

Big Ten women’s basketball will make its 2023-24 debut on FS1 on Thursday, Nov. 16, as Iowa hosts Kansas State at 8:30 p.m. ET.

For the second consecutive season, FOX will televise Big Ten women’s basketball games. Its five-game slate begins with a Dec. 30 match-up between Ohio State and Michigan in Ann Arbor at 12 p.m. ET.

NBCUniversal’s direct-to-consumer platform, Peacock, will also carry Big Ten games live for the first time. A Jan. 2 meeting between Michigan State and Iowa will mark Peacock’s first broadcast. Tip is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET in Iowa City.

NBC will also televise its first-ever Big Ten women’s basketball game on Jan. 21, as Iowa visits Ohio State at 12 p.m. ET.

Peacock will televise the opening two games of the 2024 Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament, with second-round, quarterfinal, and semifinal games on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday slated for Big Ten Network.

All Big Ten Network, FOX and FS1 on-air games will also be streamed nationwide via the web, smartphones, tablets and connected devices on the FOX Sports App, while games televised on CBS will also be available for streaming on Paramount+. NBC’s broadcast will also be available for live streaming on Peacock, while games exclusive to Peacock will only be available on the platform.

More than 140 additional games also will be streamed on B1G+, with a full schedule available online at bigtenplus.com.
